Fans were left heartbroken after last week’s riveting Season 9 debut of “The Masked Singer,” when they learned that two more contestants will not be returning for the remainder of the season.
On Wednesday night, “The Masked Singer” bid goodbye to Rock Lobster and Night Owl on stage. You may have guessed (or not) who was hiding under those ludicrously elaborate masks.
A new addition to season 9 of The Masked Singer in the United States, Rock Lobster clearly has a good time at parties. Together with the other newcomers Night Owl and Medusa. Who both advanced from Week 1 after defeating Gnome and Mustang, Rock Lobster made his premiere in the ABBA Night episode.
As far as the judges were concerned, Rock Lobster is one of the wildest competitors they’ve ever had.

Who Is Rock Lobster?
A gold sleeveless jacket and belt complement Lobster’s black slacks and red and gold splattered boots. They look like lobsters in every way, including having a lobster-like head, tail, and claws.
Some of the hints provided by Rock Lobster were: joker cards; expulsion from three schools; pranking others; dancing for 15 seconds; and the star of Drag Race, Shangela. Ken thought the cards were a preview of Howie’s debut on “Deal or no Deal,” while others thought he was too “neurotic” to pull off a performance while wearing such a bulky mask.
When it was revealed that Rock Lobster was actually AGT judge and stand-up comedian Howie Mandel. They had to admit they were mistaken. Howie and Nick have both appeared on television numerous times, thus Nick Cannon had good reason to believe he knew the guy behind the Rock Lobster mask. He admitted he missed Nick and that it felt weird not to be a judge.
Howie said that things were “turned” upside down because he usually judges the AGT contestants and was now the one being judged. He continued by saying that, as a Jew, he is forbidden to eat lobster, yet here he was, dressed as Rock Lobster.
The Masked Singer new episodes air on FOX every Wednesday at 8 pm ET. The network’s website also provides a streaming option for fans.
Howie Mandel As The Lobster
Howie Mandel, comedian and Emmy-nominated host, was revealed to be the mysterious crustacean.
Since 2010, Mandel has served as a judge on “America’s Got Talent,” so he is no stranger to the judgement panel.
Mandel also found great joy in seeing Nick Cannon, his fellow American Idol judge and former host of America’s Got Talent.
“You’re the man, man! I need you!” replied Mandel, holding up his enormous lobster head to Cannon.
Mandel claimed that missing Cannon inspired him to enter the singing competition.
Mandel replied, “I wanted to be here with you because, number one, I love you buddy and I miss you.” “That’s why this show is entertaining to watch, which brings us to point number two. And I really do like to sing and dance; I only included that to put the emphasis on having fun. On TikTok, you may find me dancing.”

Mandel quipped that he was used to being the judge rather than the judged, so everything felt backwards.

Green shirt, black slacks, and black boots with red accents to match his claws make up Rock Lobster’s attire. In terms of style, he isn’t really a trendsetter.
