“Laverne & Shirley” was a well-liked sitcom that was broadcast on ABC from 1976 through 1983 and ran for a total of nine successful seasons. According to statements made by members of her family, Cindy Williams, best known for her role as Shirley Feeney in the popular sitcom, passed away on Monday, January 30.

Williams had reached the age of 75 at the time and had been ailing for a short while. Her children Zak and Emily Hudson, as well as the actress’ personal assistant Liz Cranis, released a statement to inform the public of the devastating news.

The delight and privilege for us has been in getting to know and love her. She was one of a kind, stunning, and generous, and she had a dazzling sense of humour and a glimmering personality that won the hearts of everyone who met her.”

She is well recognised for her roles in the television shows ‘Laverne & Shirley,’ ‘Bingo,’ ‘More American Graffiti,’ and ‘American Graffiti,’ amongst other things. She had a career that spanned over sixty years, therefore she will leave behind a legacy.
