A Federal Grand Jury Has Indicted The Teen On Terrorist Charges. Link With ISIS

A federal grand jury in Chicago indicted a suburban kid for allegedly planning to join Islamic State extremists in Syria as the world watched a terrorist take-down halfway across the continent in France.

Mohammed Hamzah Khan, 19, of Bolingbrook, was indicted on a single count of conspiring to give material support to ISIS.

The I-Team learned that the charge was handed down by a grand jury on Thursday night, but that it was only unsealed on Friday morning.

The Khan case and the happenings in France reflect a larger concern of law enforcement: radical sympathizers from Western nations who fly overseas for jihad training and, at times, actual combat. No connection has been claimed to the killings and siege in Paris this week.
