Students In Chicago Will Now Learn Financial Literacy With Real Money!

Thanks to a financial education programme, students on Chicago’s South Side can now invest real money in the stock market.

Students and their families at Chicago’s Richard Henry Lee Elementary School will benefit from a new cooperation between the Chicago Public Schools and Cabrera Capital Markets.

Families will be provided with 529 college savings plan information, investment choices, and financial literacy education in the areas of saving and investing.

FinEDge, a high school curriculum developed at the University of Chicago, was released to schools in Illinois and nine other states in early 2019. The Magnetar Capital conceived of and developed it.
