Learn About Complete Dating History Of Selena Gomez!

Published

on

Throughout her life, Selena Gomez has dated a number of famous people. Gomez, as a child star, became famous for her romance with adolescent idol Nick Jonas.

After their breakup, the Same Old Love singer had an on-again, off-again relationship with Justin Bieber that lasted eight years and terminated for positive reasons in 2018.

Over the coming decades, Gomez’s name would be mentioned in the same breath as other famous people like Zedd, Charlie Puth, and The Weeknd.

Recently, Gomez’s relationship with The Chainsmokers’ Andrew Armstrong has been the subject of speculation. They were first seen together in January of 2023 at a bowling alley in New York City. In March of the year 2023, Selena was seen out in New York City with Zayn Malik.

The Nick Jonas Band

In 2008, after Gomez and Nick Jonas had already met via their common Disney Channel connection, the two were romantically connected for the first time.

Gomez was photographed skating in January while wearing Jonas’ Costello-themed t-shirt, and she hung out with the whole Jonas Brothers gang during the Disney Channel’s Games in April.

In June of that year, when Gomez featured in Jonas’ music video for “Burnin’ Up,” speculation of a romantic relationship between the two reached a fever pitch.

In The Words Of Taylor Lautner

In the wake of her first breakup with Jonas in April 2009, Gomez was briefly connected to Taylor Lautner. They first crossed paths while Gomez had been staying at the identical hotel in Toronto as Lautner’s Twilight co-star, Kristen Stewart.

They started hanging together after accidentally running into one other many times and were later caught having dinner together with some mutual pals. A witness also claimed to PEOPLE that the two were behaving “like a couple” while cuddling at a movie theater.

Musician Justin Bieber

Shortly after declaring Gomez his celebrity obsession in early 2009, Justin Bieber was connected to her via her mother, who had been contacted by Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun.

After becoming friends, Bieber enchanted Gomez at Dick Clark’s celebration of New Year’s Rocking’ Eve that same year. In a February interview with MTV News, Gomez raved over Bieber, comparing him like a younger brother.

Like a big sister, I feel responsible for looking out for him now. So I’m always extremely careful with him, but the fact that he’s so skilled and kind is what first got us talking about collaborating. According to Gomez, “he’s simply one of my close pals now.”

Zedd

Dating speculations surfaced shortly after Gomez and composer Zedd (born Anton Zaslavski) started working together on new songs in early 2015. After the two were seen leaving a Golden These globes party together, Gomez posted an Instagram photo in honor of her supposed boyfriend.

“Missing LA as well as this punk music, just a bit tonight,” Gomez wrote above a studio photo she had taken. On the other hand, Zedd posted a video chat screenshot with Gomez, labeling it “Oh hey derrling.”

By the month’s end, the two had been seen together on many occasions, and Zedd had even traveled to Atlanta to surprise Gomez when she was there shooting The Essentials of Caregiving. She subsequently shared a group picture and video from their bowling date, in which Zedd can be seen holding onto her.

Nicolai Horan

After being pals for quite some time, Gomez was briefly connected to Niall Horan of One Direction in November 2015.

After the American Music Awards, Gomez was seen having dinner with Horan and some of his friends in Malibu, and the sighting sparked dating rumors between the two. A week later, at Jenna Dewan’s 35th anniversary party, Gomez and Horan apparently showed some PDA, despite sources saying they were simply pals at the time.

Krost, Samuel

Gomez was rumored to be seeing Niall Horan around the same time that she was seen with sales and merchandise professional and Gigi Hadid pal Samuel Krost. They first appeared in public in November 2015, in New York City, and then again during the beginning of 2016 on a trip with a large number of their friends.

Gomez and Krost were seen leaving their dinner reservation at the SLS Hotel later in January, holding hands. Observers noted that the couple “seemed really happy together,” as one put it to PEOPLE.

Charli Puth

There were rumors that Gomez was dating her “We Are Not Talking Anymore” co-writer Charlie Puth in March of 2016. Puth subsequently confirmed the rumors, saying their relationship didn’t last long.

I’m not one to spill the beans, but I don’t think a song like it can be taken seriously unless there’s some other drama going on. That’s exactly what had transpired. Brief, modest, but significant, Puth remarked in an interview.

And that screwed me up in a major way. I’ll try to phrase this as diplomatically as possible: it hadn’t been like I was her sole concern. What I ended up getting myself into, I believe, I knew going in.

Singer: “The Weeknd”

Both Gomez and the Weeknd were performing at the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Women’s Fashion Show, when they supposedly first met. In January of 2017, during an intimate dinner at Giorgio Baldi, the couple went public with their relationship.

According to PEOPLE’s sources, the couple’s relationship was “fresh and nothing serious” at first, but only a few weeks after their first sighting, they jetted off to Italy. Gomez captioned a black-and-white video of the couple on their vacation together with a heart-eyes emoji, making their Instagram connection official.

Taggart, Drew

In January of 2023, Gomez was initially linked to the lead vocalist of The Chainsmokers. An Us Weekly insider claims the two have been seen together at a New York City bowling alley and are in the early stages of a “very informal and low-key” relationship.

According to the same source, Selena “can scarcely keep her eyes off [Drew]” and the pair are ” having a great deal of joy together.”

The “The exact same Old Heart” singer addressed the relationship allegations on her personal Instagram account shortly after she and Taggart were seen together in public.

Conclusion

Malik & Gomez were reportedly caught out on a New York City dinner date in March of 2023. A TikTok video made by a waitress at a New York City restaurant claims the couple entered “hand and hand” and was later spotted “making out.”
