Cops Hunting for Two Migrants Accused of Brutally Beating and Mugging Times Square Tourist Outside 4-Star Hotel

The streets of New York City have once again been the scene of a violent crime. This time, it involved two migrants who allegedly brutally beat and mugged a tourist in front of a 4-star hotel in Times Square.

According to sources, the incident occurred on Sunday night around 8:00 PM. The victim, identified as 44-year-old Kevin Wong from California, was walking back to his hotel when he was approached by two assailants. They reportedly began to harass and verbally assault Wong before physically attacking him.

The suspects, identified as 27-year-old Rodriguez Almonte and 23-year-old Carlos Nunez, allegedly punched and kicked Wong multiple times. They then proceeded to steal his wallet, cash, and cell phone before fleeing the scene.

Wong was left with multiple injuries including a broken nose and several lacerations. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is currently being treated for his injuries.

Sources say that Almonte and Nunez are migrants from the Dominican Republic who have been living in the city for an extended period of time. They were last seen wearing dark clothing and are considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities are now on the hunt for the suspects, who are facing numerous charges including assault, robbery, and harassment. The incident has once again raised concerns about the safety of tourists in popular areas such as Times Square.

In recent months, there have been several high-profile crimes committed against tourists in New York City. This has prompted officials to increase police presence in these areas and implement stricter safety measures.

Anyone with information about this incident or the whereabouts of Almonte and Nunez is urged to contact the NYPD immediately. As for Wong, he is expected to make a full recovery and has since returned home to California.

This incident serves as a reminder for both locals and tourists alike to remain vigilant and aware of their surroundings while in the city. As authorities continue their search for the suspects, the hope is that justice will be served and incidents like this can be prevented in the future.
